Programme Manager

The Edinburgh International Culture Summit Foundation is seeking a Programme Manager to realise the programme for the fourth Edinburgh International Culture Summit to take place in August 2018.

The Programme Manager will be contracted by the charity and work closely with Sir Jonathan Mills, Programme Director and Summit partners (Scottish and UK Governments, The Scottish Parliament, British Council and Edinburgh International Festival) to plan and deliver an attractive and effective event for Culture Ministers from across the world. 

The contract for this work is due to run from February 2017 to October 2018, at approx. 1.5 days initially, with the potential to increase the time commitment from October 2017 and rising to full time from Spring 2018.  A fee of between £30-36,000 p.a. (pro rata) will be dependent on experience.

About the 2016 Culture Summit

The Edinburgh International Culture Summit 2016 brought together Culture Ministers with prominent artists, thinkers and others responsible for formulating cultural policy. 

They discussed how the arts enrich the lives of people around the world and contribute to the wellbeing of nations.
